BIOGRAPHY
Mark
Gilliland is a photographer with the Chattanooga
Times Free Press and an Associated Press string
photographer. He has been honored with awards
from the Associated Press, the Tennessee
Professional Photographers, and Nikon. With
works published in two books on Chattanooga, the
Show Beagle Quarterly, Clean Run
and Cowboys and Indians along with
newspapers around the world.
His
exhibition with The Gallery is his first major
showing of his western photos.
The black and white photographs focus on the
nature of the cowboy and the essence of cowboy
life.
Mark and his wife
Rachael are residents of Red Bank, Tennessee,
where they spend their time when not traveling
and photographing.
